Created by award-winning filmmaker Katherine Linton, Lesbian Sex and Sexuality offers a provocative new look at lesbian culture like nothing seen before on television.

Lesbian Sex and Sexuality brings Linton (Executive Producer) to here! Networks after a string of successful works on a variety of high profile networks. Her award-winning documentaries include AIDS: A Pop Culture History for VH1, Black Las Vegas: In Through the Backdoor for The Learning Channel, and The Junkie Next Door: Women and Heroin for A&E. Upon launching her own company, Linton Media Inc., Katherine's first project, The Evolution Will Be Televised, launched Viacom's channel, LOGO, in 2005.

When approached by Meredith Kadlec, Vice President of Original Programming for here! networks, with the idea of doing a series on lesbian sexuality, Linton “instantly agreed as I had never seen it done… [and] that there was an outlet that did not for various reasons have to whitewash our queer sexuality was thrilling.”

“We are excited to offer this uncensored, informative series to the here! audience,” said Kadlec, who is also an Executive Producer for the series. “We are committed to offering our lesbian viewers innovative fare that takes the time to examine aspects of their lives in an honest way.”

"Katherine let me feel comfortable with revealing all of the emotions I dealt with after coming out at 14 in the 1970s and then living in the center of the crisis that AIDS brought into the 80s," she said about her appearance on the show. "Although most of my deepest relationships have been with women, my perception of human sexuality is not gender biased."

A one-time stripper turned adult performer, Blue is the founder of Platinum Blue and president of the mainstream-oriented Trashmouth Productions.
