Closing time wasn’t a good time for those leaving a gay club in Houston on Tuesday morning.
Dozens of patrons found their cars vandalized when they left EJ’s around 2:20 a.m., according to a report from KPRC Local 2.
Approximately 28 cars were damaged, according to the report, including slashed tires and broken windows. "I have two flat tires and a damaged windshield," one victim told reporters. Another victim added: "I honestly do think this was a hate crime and that people are tired of the gays parking on their lot. It's really sad what has happened here tonight." According to KPRC, Houston police took reports for the victims who requested them. Until next time! |
